On April 5, 2023, after a good night sleep and being a little shell shocked from yesterday’s adventure, Gnarly and I are enjoying a little break in a nice marina. It is connected to the Golden Nugget Casino in Biloxi. My son calls it the Red Neck Riviera. Appropriate. I was not particularly dressed well, and my hair was a mess (more than usually), but when I went into the casino I felt “best dressed”. Yes, it is the Red Neck Riviera.
This morning, I got a shower, change of clothes and Starbucks Coffee. I am catching up on schoolwork, emails, and planning my trip further down the line. I will be back on the water tomorrow and will plan to stop just before Mobile Bay so I can attack it first thing Friday morning.
