Leave a comment about this day On January 3, 2023 I took the first shakedown cruise with a visitor from Nebraska, Bryan Bruland. The weather was nice, and the trip went well. I became more comfortable communicating with barges and bridges. We opened the genoa in light wind and did some light sailing in Galveston Bay. It was a good start.
